Day of Spiritual Accord in the Pavlodar Diocese

October 16, 2025. Pavlodar. A creative festival of representatives of religious associations in the region was held at the “Kolos” cultural and leisure center, dedicated to the Day of Spiritual Accord.

The event was organized by the Center for Analysis and Development of Interfaith Relations of the Pavlodar Region.

With the blessing of Archbishop Varnavа of Pavlodar and Ekibastuz, the choir of the Annunciation Cathedral of the city of Pavlodar, conducted by Elena Yusupzhanova, took part in the festival.

At the conclusion of the evening, all participants were presented with letters of appreciation and commemorative gifts.

October 17 - press conference on the topic of interfaith harmony was held at the Regional Communications Service of the Pavlodar Region.

The speakers included: the head of the Department for Religious Affairs of the Pavlodar Region B. Kappasov, the head of the Department of Religious Education and Catechesis of the Pavlodar Diocese Priest Artemy Zhdanov, and representatives of the city’s religious associations.

During the meeting, experts answered journalists’ questions about the celebration of the Day of Spiritual Accord in the country and the religious situation in the region.

On the same day, a round table took place at the House of Friendship with the participation of leaders and representatives of religious organizations of Pavlodar.

The gathering was greeted by Deputy Akim of the Pavlodar Region A.K. Malikova. Aigul Kairtasovna congratulated those present on the Day of Spiritual Accord, highlighting the importance of religious diversity for the spiritual development of Kazakhstani society.

The round table continued with a discussion of current issues regarding the activities of religious associations in the region.
